Agile methods are often already used in day-to-day business. In comparison, building an agile organisation is not normal and requires a deeper change in the company.
In our project, the combination of an already existing mission and clearly defined corporate goals provided the anchoring for the sense-making in the agile teams. The team structure and thus the roles and tasks were expanded to include agile elements such as self-organisation, business capability and future viability. In addition to the new organisational concept, we designed a corresponding communication strategy and implementation planning with the company
