Supplier Development and Value Improvement
The relevant measures for individual suppliers or categories are defined on the basis of their purchasing strategies and target the value of the relationship with suppliers and to increase relationship sustainability. This can comprise short-term actions such as the indemnity of delivery capacity over mid-term measures such as increasing quality and automation in supply chain management, right up to strategic design and decision-making processes.
We eradicate ‘weak spots’ in relation to the suppliers, bringing out of it the derived recommendations for action in line with/in accordance with purchasing strategies and then conduct concrete measures.
Here are examples of the established projects and workshops that we implement and conduct:
- Cost modelling, building around the common cost model
- Lean Management workshops with suppliers with special characteristic dependent on the development strategy of the suppliers
- New product management in the supply-chain
- Suppliers’ development in Emerging Markets
